This privacy notice explains the types of information HODEALS may process when you use this website. It will be reviewed whenever HODEALS adds or changes services that affect how information is processed.
Information collected when you visit
Like most websites, the hosting platform may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages and security logs in order to deliver and protect the site.
Cookies and site functionality
WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting and caching tools may use cookies that are necessary for site operation, security or saved preferences. HODEALS currently uses Metricool website-measurement technology to analyse visits and page views. Depending on the visitor’s browser, this may involve page URLs, visit times, referral source, browser or device information and similar online identifiers. We are introducing consent controls for optional website statistics. A Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property is connected for reporting, but GA4’s measurement code is not yet installed on the website. GA4 website measurement will be enabled only after the appropriate consent controls are in place; this notice will then be updated with the operational settings and visitor choices.
Affiliate links
When you follow an affiliate link from HODEALS, a retailer or affiliate network may record that you arrived from HODEALS and may use cookies or similar identifiers for attribution. Their own privacy policies will apply when you visit their websites.
Contact and enquiries
If you contact HODEALS at info@hodeals.com, the information you provide may be used to respond to your enquiry, correct product information or manage a retailer or partnership request.
Email signups and marketing emails
If you choose to sign up for the weekly HODEALS Furniture Catalogue, HODEALS collects your email address and records your consent. We use this information to send the Monday catalogue and occasional HODEALS updates about furniture finds, buying guidance and retailer updates.
Email marketing is managed using Hostinger Reach. Hostinger Reach may process your email address, consent status, message delivery information and related technical data on behalf of HODEALS so that emails can be sent and subscription preferences can be managed. The signup form also uses security and anti-spam measures.
Marketing emails are sent only where you have opted in. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting info@hodeals.com.
How long information is kept
Information will be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, legal, accounting or operational requirements where applicable. Email subscriber information is kept while you remain subscribed and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the email service and handle unsubscribe requests.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to the use of your personal information. For privacy enquiries or requests, contact info@hodeals.com.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as HODEALS adds or changes retailer feeds, affiliate programmes, analytics, contact forms or other functionality. It will reflect the services actually in use at that time.
